I saw 1000 pageviews was coming up, so I decided to do something special.
It's done now, and I'm quite happy with it ^__^
This is also the first pic that I've done with my newly acquired open canvas 4.

For all of you who doesn't recognize her, this is Etna. She one of the main characters in Disgaea.
Disgaea is without a doubt one of my favourite games in my collection.
I just love Etna. She's a cute, witty, innocent-looking, backstabbing demon, but loving on the inside.
Also, Etna features the only english voiceover that I know of that actually sounds better than it's japanese
counter-part.

added to my favourite... your mastery of digital coloring is incredible... I really thought that it was a drawing from the game character designer. Damn...I need to get better at coloring.

I would say I prefer Etna's Japanese voice to her english one, but that's just me. I think her english voice isn't nearly as cute as her japanese voice, and then you don't get to hear her going "Denpaaaa" XD.

Anyway, you did a good job matching the pinkness of the Disgaea illustrations for the color <3. I think my favorite thing about this is the battle-aze. You make me want to go and color my sad half0inked lineart XD.

heehee. I'm glad you liked it. :heart:
I have nothing against the japanese voice, it's very cute ^^. But IMO all japanese female voices are ever so often extremely cutified. The english voice is very different and not as high-pitch, and the voice actor is brilliant. Which is veeery rare outside japan.
